This position exists to coordinate multiple projects withclients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other campus departments. This individual will meet with contacts,review projects, review estimates, review blueprints, prepare contract workauthorizations, estimates changes and additions to projects, determine scheduleimpact and attend and participate in project status meetings. The person in this position will help tosupervise outside contractors up to the completion of assigned projects. Upon completion of the project he/she willinspect the work and determine acceptability of the work, assure that the scopeof the job is accomplished and assure that the customer is satisfied with theproject completion. 2 Positions Available
Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:
Must possess good communication skills and be able tocommunicate effectively with all members of the campus community includingstaff, faculty, administration, contractors and vendors.
The applicant should exhibit exemplary time managementskills and must also have intermediate level computer skills (MicrosoftOutlook, Word, Excel, Facilities database, INTERNET navigation).
Knowledge of project management techniques and practices.
Knowledge of materials and methods of construction.
