The Medical Visualization Engineer shall be responsible for:
Developing workflows and medical imaging products and services to enhance procedure planning under the direction of the PI and senior staff.
Using a variety of clinical and general-purpose software, the Engineer processes and displays patient-specific imaging and anatomical data.
Developing novel visualization tools and techniques using high-quality clinical imaging In collaboration with clinical faculty and staff.
Writing and modifying software to display 3D content in multiple clinical and research settings.
Performing bench testing and calibration of prototypes to evaluate effectiveness and robustness.
Collaborating with lab staff, clinicians and statisticians to design and write up experiments and protocols.
Proposing and implementing modifications to improve performance of visualization tools.
Preparing oral and written reports for presentation at technical conferences and for publication in scholarly journals.
In order to qualify you must have:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
2 years' experience in Unity or Unreal game development environment
Ability and willingness to work in clinical and surgical environments, including during open surgical procedures.
