Reporting to President and Dean, the Vice President will be a key member of the president’s executive leadership team as well as serve as a trusted advisor to the president. The vice president will engage with students, faculty, staff, alumni and the broader community to lead the campus in developing a vision and strategy for advancing diversity, equity and inclusion among its constituents and position Mitchell Hamline as a leader around these issues.

Among the vice president's priorities include developing a common and clear vision and plan for diversity, equity and inclusion for the school; partner with other functions so that diversity, equity and inclusion is woven into all aspects of the school; assess and evaluate the impact of current and future diversity and equity efforts; work to develop a diverse, equitable and inclusive-oriented culture across the school; and serve as an ambassador in the community for diversity, equity and inclusion.
