Towson University Health Center is seeking temporary full time healthcare professionals to staff our University COVID-19 Response and Contact Tracing Team. Our current need is weekdays from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm and flexible weekend hours based on test results.
Description
The COVID response and contact tracing team member will support University Health Center staff by: reviewing and responding to faculty, staff, and students’ daily online symptoms monitoring tool (QuickScans); engaging in email and telephone outreach to staff, students, and faculty; document communications, update files, and maintain electronic records; and do contact tracing and documentation on all new positive COVID cases.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have attained their Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician’s Assistant (PA) from an accredited program.
Must be licensed in the State of Maryland.
Must be comfortable with electronic health records.
Recent graduates accepted.
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
Salary and Benefits
$35.00-$40.00 per hour. Contractual employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage. The position is contingent on funds being available at time of hire. To learn more about our benefits, click here.
