The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, on the Clinician-Educator track. Service responsibilities include participation in surgical, autopsy and neurodegenerative neuropathology, with the option of participating and developing the nerve and muscle service. Mentoring and teaching would include medical students, residents, and fellows, as well serving on department, school, and/or university committees. There is also a possibility of serving as Director of the Neuropathology Fellowship Program. There are currently two fellowship slots in the neuropathology division, a dedicated sign-out room, and a strong and collaborative faculty. Numerous opportunities for investigation are available in collaboration with faculty in the Malnati Brain Tumor Institute and the Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease, which are both world-class and supported by the NIH.
Qualified candidates must have a MD or MD/PhD degree, AP board certification, NP board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for an unrestricted license in the State of Illinois. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
