Reporting to the Strategic Data Manager for Enrollment Management, the position is responsible for extracting, analyzing, modeling, forecasting, interpreting, and reporting enrollment management data from both institutional and external data bases, employing technology tools, such as data mining or analytics; developing and conducting research studies using statistical techniques; presenting data and results to various audiences; serving on and supporting task forces and committees; and working collaboratively on projects with colleagues within and outside Enrollment Management.

Master’s degree with experience in institutional research, enrollment management, or related field.
Master's degree-level training and proficiency in social science research methodology and statistical analysis techniques.
Ability to write, speak and present information clearly and concisely to a wide variety of audiences.
Experience designing and implementing research studies of varying complexity and in writing research summaries and reports.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Access, Power Point and Word, and SPSS or SAS.
Experience using Cognos or other business intelligence systems, data mining tools, or analytics for decision support.
Experience creating or manipulating large databases.
Ability to lead and work in teams.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to manage competing priorities.
Ability to complete assignments on time and with a high degree of quality and responsiveness and to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Ability to successfully complete a background check.
Experience in an institutional research office and demonstrated knowledge of institutional research theory, principles and methods.
Experience in enrollment management data support, including knowledge of principles and practices of enrollment management.
Experience with Tableau and/or Cognos
Knowledge and experience in financial aid
