Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision.
Demonstrates positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times, greeting members and guests with a smile and eye contact immediately upon their arrival, using their name or acknowledging them, and thanking them for their business.
Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
Ensures confidentiality of member information.
Primary advocate for all Hispanic organizations in our service area for event planning, education and scheduling within the Hispanic Community.
Identify new business opportunities and business partnerships as well as developing strong relationships with partner decision-makers.
Comfortable in the following situations: cold-calling, face to face meetings, presentations as well as social media and serves as our primary liaison within the Hispanic community.
Identify member needs and provides advice and guidance regarding financial solutions that are in the best interest of the member.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with members and community partners.
Collaborates with Marketing to align on partner needs and develop resources for those relationships to be successful.
Assists in product marketing, including product launch, new business development, sales tools and competitive analysis.
Leads internal working group to solicit and provide feedback on our progress within our ELL initiative.
Acts as an active member of GreenStates Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
Works with Human Resources to identify and recruit Spanish-speaking employees.
Oversees both sales and retention for our Hispanic membership.
Educates the community through traditional and non-traditional platforms of the benefits that GreenState can provide. This will include events, presentations and incoming calls.
Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or Credit Union sponsored events on an annual basis.
Plans and executes neighborhood destination events to build positive public relations in all communities we serve.
Works with media outlets and marketing to publish timely company information, such as press releases, brochures and other materials.
Implements social media strategies and grow online supporter base and traffic.
Collaborates with marketing to develop advertising, marketing and promotional plans.
Completes occasional, specific assignments from the President/CEO.
Bachelors degree and three to five years of experience, primarily in public relations or marketing.
Ability, availability, and willingness to work additional hours as demanded by the workload, especially with respect to Credit Union after-hours functions.
Excellent command of both the Spanish and English language is required.
Comfortable leading presentations to a large group representing GreenState as well as its products and services.
Works well in cooperation with others for the benefit of the organization.
Excels at sales and customer service/relations, with an upbeat, positive attitude.
Willingness to travel throughout the GreenState territory and willing to work non-traditional hours (including weekends).
Proficiency in a variety of personal computer software programs, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.
Significant level of interpersonal skills required for extensive internal and external contact, as well as motivating, influencing, and building relationships with others.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize large, detailed project requirements and schedules. Is often required to oversee and direct several projects in different markets at once.
Must be bondable.
Ability to obtain an NMLS ID, pursuant to requirements of the S.A.F.E. Act.
Reports to the Executive Vice President/Consumer Services.
This position is not responsible for the supervision of other employees.
