Reporting to the Director of HofstraCard Services, the Associate Director Position is responsible for the management of the Hofstraâ€™s ID card operation. The position will be responsible for managing academic and residential access levels, groups, rules and related processes for the University. The Associate Director is also responsible for providing technical expertise and support in managing and maintaining the installation, repair and preventative maintenance programs of Hofstra Universityâ€™s Lenel access control system. This position is also responsible for co-managing and administering a departmental work order system, managing departmental inventory records, support databases, and excel documents that contain valuable HofstraCard Services and University records and documents.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: â€¢ Assist in and provide expertise in the maintenance and repair of all equipment and software â€¢ Manage ID Card Production System, including managing ID Card Printers, card stock and related equipment inventory â€¢ Manage academic and residential access levels, groups, rules and related processes â€¢ Co-manage and administer the Universityâ€™s access control and work order management systems. â€¢ Install, repair and perform preventative maintenance on Access control equipment as required â€¢ Support office programs and initiatives â€¢ Supervise student employees â€¢ Perform other duties as assigned
