The Contract Management Fellowship provides participants an opportunity to enhance their professional experiences by working directly with team members and leaders within Purchasing Services. Participants will receive direct experience and mentoring, resulting in professional growth and development that will help with future employment opportunities.
Note: This is a 2 year limited term position.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Solid research/investigative and computer skills. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, including ability to work independently and with intermittent supervision. Strong writing skills. Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work successfully within a team. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information. Ability to prepare and maintain confidential documentation that will meet audit requirements. Expertise with Microsoft Office software.
Working Conditions / Demands
Work is typically conducted in an office setting with low physical effort required. While performing the duties of this job, regularly required to remain stationary and communicate. Frequently required to use a keyboard and monitor. Occasionally required to mobilize around the office. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Active concentration is ongoing and constant. Visual strain can occur with the use of spreadsheets and computer monitors.
