The Student Hourly Assistant, under general supervision, will assist the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with Logic Circuits and AI Algorithms on FPGAs in conducting research and other supporting documents for publication, presentation and the future of other ECE students at PVAMU.
Students will attend virtual workshops, classes & write research papers.
Students will assist in research presentations and supporting the Logic Lab.
Students will present their findings at conferences when asked.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Presently enrolled at Prairie View A&M University for at least nine (9) graduate or six (6) undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done.
Must be in good academic standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college; minimum 2.0 GPA
No prior experience necessary
For work eligibility during a summer term, a student must be enrolled for at least six (6) graduate or undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done or preregistered at least six (6) undergraduate semester hours or nine (9) graduate semester hours for the upcoming fall term.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Students must be Junior or Senior in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
Students must have knowledge a programming language.
Students have knowledge of AI Algorithms.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Programming skills and AI Algorithms.
This is a hybrid position. Work will be completed on campus and remotely, based on the needs of the department.
