This position is responsible for a number of day-to-day financial matters across all four MBA Programs (Full Time MBA, MBA@UNC, Evening Executive and Weekend Executive). This position, reporting to the Director of MBA Finance and Analytics, serves as a subject matter expert on processes for procurement, web travel, purchasing cards, and expense reimbursements. The position processes all financial transactions for the MBA Program, including gathering required documentation, entering transactions into Connect Carolina, obtaining budgetary signatures, and working in partnership with Kenan-Flagler financial services to gather all necessary documentation to process transactions. In addition, the position communicates with faculty to track and submit faculty payment requests to human resources for our Evening and Weekend Executive MBA programs. The position independently identifies potential financial issues and recommends solutions, and serves as a back-up when the Director, MBA Finance and Analytics is not available, responding to questions regarding budget, projections, and expenditures. This position serves as the liaison between MBA Leadership and Kenan-Flagler's HR organization. Duties include facilitating position description changes or updates, maintaining organizational charts and listservs, coordinating performance review submissions, and assisting with other confidential projects as required. This position will also engage with the Kenan-Flagler facilities and IT teams on behalf of the MBA Leadership as needed.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
