Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Organizational Development Specialist for University Human Resources (UHR). The Organizational Development Specialist provides support to the university community in human resources matters in accordance with applicable university, state, and federal regulations, processes, policies, procedures and collective bargaining agreements. The position supports programs and initiatives that drive and support the university wide employee development strategy.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Responsible for the supporting all areas of organizational and talent development – both individually and in collaboration with others on the Organizational and Talent Development team.
Primary accountability for supporting the execution of learning and organizational effectiveness programs and initiatives.
Participates in special projects to support and strengthen employee development.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in an administrative function.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Results-oriented with ability to support multiple initiatives and projects concurrently.
Detail-oriented with strong organization and prioritization skills.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to summarize information and key findings.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to establish and maintain effective relationships throughout the university.
Three (3)+ years of human resources or organizational and development experience or project management experience.
