The Division of Materials Sciences and Engineering with Ames Laboratory, a Department of Energy National Laboratory affiliated with Iowa State University, is searching for a qualified Postdoctoral Research Associate.
The postdoctoral research associate will conduct research focused on discovery and studies of magnetic topological materials. Successful candidate is expected to carry out measurements of their electronic properties using Angle Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy. Second aspect of research is tuning the electronic properties of magnetic topological materials using uniaxial and biaxial pressure as well as chemical doping.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Â Ph.D. must be completed prior to start date.
Â Ph.D. in Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, or Materials Science. Demonstrated experience with ARPES technique UV sources, spectrometers and all aspects of photoemission experiments including data analysis.Â Demonstrated experience with Labview. Â
