The University of Iowa's College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a Department Executive Officer in the Department of Orthodontics . This is a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor level. Major responsibilities include:
provide strong leadership to the department;
collaborate with collegiate leadership and administration;
support faculty development and mentorship; maintain close cooperation with other departments;
maintain an independent or collaborative research/scholarship program;
actively participate in service activities at the collegiate, regional, and national levels;
maintain an active involvement in the clinical/didactic teaching efforts of the department in Orthodontics at the pre/postdoctoral levels;
actively participate in the departmental faculty practice plan; and
cultivate an environment of inclusion and respect for students, faculty, and staff within the department/College.
