This position is in the Department of Washington University Information Technology. This position is for the Danforth Campus. The ability to travel to on- and off-campus locations is required.
Under moderate supervision, provides transportation of desktop computer systems for University staff, faculty and students. The Courier & Tech Assistant also provides additional assistance to technicians and customers including, but not limited to, hardware order status updates, computer imaging assistance, inventory reconciliation and project delivery planning.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily Operations: Receive, deliver, sort and process incoming and outgoing desktop equipment. Deliver desktop equipment to on- and off-locations as needed. Act as a liaison between customers and technical staff.
Facilitate scheduling delivery/pickup of projects and special events with technical staff and customers.
Assist technical staff with imaging of computers, status inquiries and inventory reconciliation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
Missouri Class E driver’s license within one month of start date for anyone driving University-owned vehicles more than once per week.
Some technical training desired.

Experience with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel.
Ability to learn and navigate an IT service platform.
The hiring range for this position is $13.80 - $15.45 per hour.
