Licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Oregon
Earned doctorate in nursing or related field preferred; with five years of progressive experience in higher education and programmatic leadership; eligible for rank at the Assistant (will be considered if experienced), Associate/Professor (preferred) level
Possess a clear understanding of the importance of diversity in nursing and the ability and skill to help lead the school toward achieving its strategic goals for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Experience in and passion for leading change.
Knowledge of undergraduate curricula in nursing and pedagogy.
Demonstrated experience in leading faculty and staff and in building strong, vibrant community partnerships
Ability to connect with and engage with multiple stakeholders and function within a matrix environment
Knowledge of and ability to generate revenue and manage budgets with varying degrees of complexity
Ability to balance academic decorum with approachability and accessibility for faculty, student, academic, and community stakeholders.
