The Department of Neurology at The Ohio State University as a result of extraordinary growth is recruiting BC/BE Neurohospitalists to complement our well-established general and specialty neurologists.
The Ohio State University became one of the first medical centers in the nation to integrate our five neuroscience-related departments (Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroscience, PM&R and Psychiatry) into a comprehensive Neurological Institute. The neurohospitalist will perform management of inpatients with neurological disorders including those in the emergency department, intensive care units, and consultation on those patients with neurological injury across a wide range of services within our medical center. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.
The Ohio State University is a large, internationally-ranked university with a state-of-the-art medical center and highly regarded academic and clinical programs. We have lead the region in the "America's Best Hospitals" rankings by U.S. News & World Report for the past twenty seven years. Faculty at OSUWMC enjoy excellent benefits, including tuition reimbursement for qualifying dependents. Additionally, the College of Medicine at OSUWMC offers a unique and highly active mentorship program geared toward career advancement of new faculty members.
