St. Louis College of Pharmacy at University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of research technician 1 or 2 within the Center for Clinical Pharmacology in the lab of Dr. Susruta Majumdar. The Center is a collaborative between Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis - Department of Anesthesiology and the St. Louis College of Pharmacy focused on translational and/or clinical research in analgesia. The research technician is responsible for assisting with the technical aspects of studies, biological evaluations of novel synthetic opioid analgesics and experiments including documentation and preparation of materials.

 

Youll have the opportunity to:

  • Assists investigator or higher-level technician with research studies, experiments and assays including collection of data, preparation of solutions and set-up and maintenance of equipment.
  • Assists with behavioral neuroscience experiments using animal models
  • Assists with biochemical radioligand binding assays and functional assays.
  • Maintains files on research and assists with data entry.
  • Assists with general lab maintenance and cleaning.
