Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Location: Hyde Park Campus
May assist with handling and treatment of small animals, including measuring tumors, performing injections/inoculations, and blood/tissue collection.
Provides regular oral reports on progress. Conducts literature reviews. Participates in writing reports and manuscripts.
Assists with the installation, sets up and performs experiments; interacting with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator.
Collects and enters data. Assists in analyzing data. Assist with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
Performs other related work as needed.
Bachelorâ™s degree in a field relevant to the research being conducted
Prior laboratory work experience in a research labÂ Â Â
â‹Knowledge of standard molecular biology research techniques.
Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and common data analysis software.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Â
