The College of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track or tenured appointment to begin August 2021 in the area of building technology.
The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in the development and application of advanced technology for buildings. The candidate should have experience integrating studio-based architectural design teaching with building envelope systems and assemblies, sustainable environmental control systems, and the measurable outcomes of building performance. Additional expertise is expected in sustainability, net-zero practices, life cycle assessment, and carbon neutral design. A record of success in research and teaching is expected.

Education & Experience:
A candidate should have a Masters degree in architecture or another relevant field (international equivalents will be considered). A Ph.D. and/or professional licensure are desirable.
