A dental hygienist is a licensed member of the dental team responsible for the preventive aspects of oral health. Licensed dental hygienists provide clinical, education, and therapeutic services that promote optimal oral health. This position is for the graduate Periodontology clinic and the graduate Restorative Sciences clinic in the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. The position involves working with long term perio patients as well as patients post full mouth rehabilitation. Candidates should be able to work with a large and diverse group of residents.
Desired candidates are friendly, driven and have a strong interest in working within an educational setting and providing the best dental care to our patients. This position will also be involved with developing and implementing a hygiene recall system.
Hygienists experienced with treating patients who have undergone Periodontal treatment are encouraged to apply.
1-proven experience required.
Candidates must have proper licensing.
