Summary of Essential Job Duties:
Provides clerical and administrative support/duties for the Liver Transplant and HBS programs. Compiles a list of billable transplant notes and email to appropriate billing team.
The PSR II will be responsible for all discharge and procedure correspondence for Liver Transplant and HBS patients sent to referring physicians. In addition, the PSR II will coordinate with the Inpatient service and PBS to capture all patients managed by the team. Ensures the collection of patient demographics and insurance information. Retrieves information from files as requested and assembles paperwork and reference material as requested by physicians, nurses and patients. Responsible for following CSMC and HIPPA confidentiality guidelines while performing all duties.
