Germanna's Center for Workforce & Community Education is expanding its noncredit offerings and services and is seeking a qualified individual to provide high-level development and launch of new educational products. The incumbent will develop and diversify new Workforce offerings supported through use of current and emerging technologies. The incumbent will be responsible for the conception and launch of new educational product lines, and is responsible for product implementation and oversight, and the management and standardization of the new product models and instructional modalities. Duties include: Developing new noncredit training programs incorporating new technologies such as simulation and virtual/augmented reality and incorporation of rich technologies; embedding remediation and assessments, into training programs to enhance student experience/employer satisfaction; development of new online class "teasers" and the integration of student support features (such as online advising and access to resources) to drive and support enrollment into higher-revenue classes; creating and launching micro-learning modules ideally accessible on mobile devices, and reaching new audiences; identification/ creation/launch of webinar instructional formats; and exploring creating/ launching short Open Education modules, as pathways to noncredit credential programs; packaging current products for online/multi-modal delivery and marketing to the appropriate audiences/industry sectors; developing/ modifying current products for hybrid delivery. New product and revenue streams will be expanded across all noncredit program areas including industry/construction, IT, healthcare, professional services, and others. Incumbent is responsible for the coordination of project activities and related resources; determining scope and use of synchronous and asynchronous technologies; evaluation of needed equipment; tracking data and information; identification and resolution of project issues; and assurance of project progress and attaining revenue goals. The position will coordinate work of taskforces, steering/advisory committees, information technologists, audio visual professionals, and course developers; act as a point of contact and liaison with partners, businesses, agencies, and trainees; and prepare data and track reports.
