FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences of Bronx Community College seeks Adjunct Faculty in the Radiologic Technology Program. Responsibilities include teaching selected Radiological courses, participation in clinical orientation, and the performance of competency evaluations. Responsibilities also include policy administration, development of program goals and objectives, and departmental and college engagement. Must be available to teach evening and weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

Adjunct Lecturer: Bachelor's degree required in Radiologic Health Sciences or related field. Credentialing as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with certification by the ARRT and licensure by the State of New York for a minimum of two years.

Adjunct Assistant Professor: Master's degree required in Radiologic Health Sciences or related field. Credentialing as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with certification by the ARRT and licensure by the State of New York for a minimum of two years.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate in Radiologic Health Sciences or related field.

Credentialing in advanced imaging modalities. Two years of teaching experience in a Radiologic Technology program and/or five years of experience teaching students in a clinical environment. Experience with lesson planning and preparation, instruction methodologies, evaluations and assessment is a plus. Three years of leadership experience. Knowledgeable in the JCERT accreditation process.

COMPENSATION

Adjunct Lecturer: $74.48 - $92.72 per hour.

Adjunct Assistant Professor: $84.48 – $100.27 per hour.
