Advertised Job Summary:
A Senior Enterprise Network Architect focused on the end-to-end creation and management of IT network architecture models and their lower level components, specifically focused on security, applied networking and enterprise routing. They must interpret, use, and apply information contained within IT architecture to inform a range of business improvement activities, particularly those involved in the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of IT network systems. The Enterprise Network Architect is expected to ensure that the overall architecture is maintained in a coherent manner and that appropriate considerations are made for its security and quality. The primary role of the Enterprise Network Architect is to ensure that the respective business, application, data, and technology perspectives are in-line with the university's technology and governance strategies, policies and standards.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Systems, Business Administration or related field and 4-years experience in computer operations or a related field; or equivalency.
10+ years of experience in the planning and design of LANs & WANs.
Must have led or participated in an IPv4 to IPv6 design and migration.
