The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine in Ohio is offering a full-time Breast Imaging Radiology Faculty Position in the Department of Radiology. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities. The selected candidate will work at UC Health facilities. UC Health offers the following breast imaging and image-guided procedures: digital mammography, ultrasound, MRI, tomosynthesis, US-guided core biopsy, stereotactic biopsy, MR-guided biopsy, needle localization, and ductography/galactography. All procedures are performed by breast imagers. Breast Imaging is an ACR accredited Center of Excellence. We are also a triple accredited facility in breast cancer.
All breast imagers have no responsibilities in other sections and do not participate in general call. All staff is recently fellowship trained or have at least 25 years’ experience in breast imaging. We have national leaders in breast imaging, chairs of committees at the ACR, and accomplished researchers. We have participated and are currently participating in multiple ACRIN studies.
Ours is a very congenial group and consider all in the section part of a team. We have very good relationships with oncologic services (surgical and medical) and have frequent interactions.
Job Duties: Responsibilities include staffing at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) and other UC Health facilities. Duties will also include teaching and supervision of residents, medical students and breast imaging fellows.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have completed a one-year Breast Imaging fellowship. Applicants must be ABR/AOBR certified or eligible and eligible for an Ohio and Kentucky medical license. Rank and Track will be commensurate with experience and credentials of candidate.
