The Quarantine and Isolation Housing Manager (QIHM) provides day-to-day oversight to the quarantine and isolation housing program for Residential Halls, Residential Colleges, and Graduate Housing Students within Residential Services. The QIHM supervises 15-30 temporary Quarantine and Isolation Housing Coordinators (QIHCs), serves in an on-call rotation, and assists with daily tasks as needed. This is a benefits eligible, six month term appointment beginning mid-December 2020 and ending mid-June 2021.
This position is provided with optional on-campus housing.
There are two shifts: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm and Monday through Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
Supervision and Advising
Recruit, select, train, supervise, and evaluate 20-40 temporary Quarantine and Isolation Housing Coordinators.
Monitor daily shift and student wellness reports, making referrals or taking action as appropriate.
Develop and maintain the staff schedule.
Represent the quarantine and isolation housing program to campus partners, including at daily check-in meetings.
Establish and maintain relationships with campus partners to further develop connections to students in quarantine and isolation housing, including the Case Management Team, Health Service, Dean of Students office, Dining, and Athletics.
Connect students to campus resources and provide support for those who need additional assistance.
Participate in on-call rotation for quarantine and isolation housing.
Evaluate processes and procedures, using the information to improve the student experience and day-to-day operations of the quarantine and isolation housing program.
Coordinate overall administrative management of quarantine and isolation housing that may include, but is not limited to: occupancy, facilities, and keys.
Assist with daily quarantine and isolation housing tasks as needed.
Maintain office and PPE supplies at appropriate levels.
Utilize technology including, but not limited to: Maxient, Microsoft Office, RMS Mercury, and KeyTrak.
Earned bachelor’s degree

Must possess excellent interpersonal communication, organization, administration, supervision skills and experience as well as a commitment to diversity and student development.

Experience working with college students in a residential life or student affairs role.
Experience serving in an on-call setting.
