The Program Coordinator provides Career & Leadership support to the UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA student populations and operational support to the Career & Leadership for MBA & Alumni team. The position is responsible for five critical areas of Career & Leadership (C&L): 1) providing general office & administrative support to students, staff, employers, and other stakeholders, 2) providing administrative support to the Career & Leadership team and our employer partners during the on-campus/virtual recruiting periods each Fall and Spring, 3) managing student data in the Career & Leadership CRM system, 4) managing vendor contracts and C&L event logistics, and 5) managing various cross-team projects that help advance the C&L mission. This position will be the front-line representative to various constituents interacting with our office (e.g. students, employer partners, staff, visitors). The Program Coordinator must be able to work independently and will be expected to apply a high degree of judgment and discretion in carrying out their tasks. This position must work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide top quality customer service and help resolve challenges as they arise.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environment and provide flawless customer service. Must possess a professional demeanor with exceptional organizational, written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Highly motivated, demonstrates initiative, positive attitude, results-driven, and possesses the ability to work with a broad range of internal and external constituents. Strong command of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required. Ability to work early morning and evening hours during peak recruiting times is required.
Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience with a job listing database/CRM (e.g. 12Twenty) preferred. Experience in recruiting, employer relations, leadership development, or event planning in a corporate or university environment preferred.
