A total of six (6) 0.9 FTE Registered Nurses will be hired to fill this job opening.

The staff of the Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital are committed to the care of antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum women and their newborns, in an environment that supports and empowers families. Low and high risk care is provided in a labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum (LDRP) setting.
Common diagnoses include normal labor and birth, cesarean section, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, preterm labor, multiple births, bleeding disorders, and congenital anomalies of the fetus. Eight hour, twelve hour and a combination of eight and twelve hour positions are offered.
License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
Current or recent (within 1 year) experience as a Registered Nurse in an inpatient Labor & Delivery - LDR or LDRP setting.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within the first three (3) months.
Ability to work up to 40 hours/week and Day shift/A shift (7AM to 7:30PM) during orientation.

Experience as a Registered Nurse in the care of inpatient high risk antepartum women.
Experience as a Registered Nurse in a non-obstetric operating room or PACU setting
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree highly desired
Certification in obstetrics specialty or electronic fetal monitoring.
Experience in critical or progressive care nursing.
ACLS or OB ACLS certification.
Successful completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring course.
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire. Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.
