Non tenure track faculty – Academic year position (Teaching Instructor or Asst Teaching Prof level) in the Department of Kinesiology and Health that is within the Division of Life Sciences at the School of Arts and Sciences. The Department has over 1,100 undergraduate majors with two thirds in the exercise science option and one third in sport management.
Minimum Education and Experience:
A MS or above in a related field of kinesiology and health is required and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
Previous work experience with the senior population or in the senior living industry preferred. Prior experience with outreach to the senior community and coordination of community wide activities and events for seniors preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The successful candidate would teach courses with focus on exercise and aging. This candidate would also be responsible for advising students. Some administrative duties and service at the university will be expected (committee responsibilities). Must demonstrate initiative and organizational skills.
