Under general supervision of the Call Center Management, the Call Center Specialist is responsible for customer service, registration, appointment scheduling and insurance verification. Typical duties include answering multi-line incoming customer calls, completing online registration, scheduling appointments and securing authorization for scheduled services. Operate CRT to gain and input information. Other related duties as assigned.
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
Previous experience directly related Call Center and Registration in a large complex healthcare setting. Cadence experience or similar function.
Demonstrated experience with patient check-in and cash handling.
Knowledge of third-party payors including federal, state and private health plans.
Proven ability to handle multi-line incoming customer calls, schedule appointments, and perform online registration.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Bilingual in both English and Spanish.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
