The UW MEDICINE CONTACT CENTER has an outstanding opportunity for a FULL-TIME SENIOR ANALYST AND PROJECT MANAGER (Day Shifts). This position is expected to last 6-12 months. The Senior Analyst & Project Manager will provide leadership during technology implementations and systematic workflows improvements for Shared Services, including the UW Medicine Contact Center. Through effective communication and the ability to negotiate with both senior administrative and clinic leaders across UW Medicine, the Senior Project Manager will demonstrate the capacity to influence change. The Senior Project Manager will oversee coordination and implementation of Contact Center Technology Services FY21 project portfolio for Contact Center, Enterprise Revenue Cycle, Radiology Scheduling, Transfer Center, and UW Neighborhood Clinics.
This individual will conduct business analysis to determine current state, future state, and gap analysis to discover requirements for Comtech technology services. Working in partnership with business unit leadership, the Senior Analyst & Project Manager will deliver performance improvement and waste reduction. This position may also work with HMC and UWMC to pilot Option 2 Optimization improvements for clinics throughout the health system. The Senior Analyst & Project Manager may assist the Director for Communication Technologies with other strategic initiatives. The Senior Project Manager may also lead process improvement projects that require cross-enterprise standardization recommendations; process and workflow redesign, development, and implementation; and tracking of the effectiveness of newly launched processes and technology through clinic feedback, patient feedback and key performance indicator monitoring.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Implement FY21 Contact Center technology services bundle for Contact Center, Enterprise Revenue Cycle, Radiology Scheduling, and Transfer Center. • Implement clinic Option 2 optimization for UW Neighborhood Clinics. May develop pilots for HMC and UWMC clinics. • Conduct current state analysis, future state visioning, and identify gaps. Incorporate requirements into discovery for provisioning new technology solutions. Facilitate statement of work definition with vendor partners. • Coordinate and facilitate orientation and training sessions with users to promote standardized offerings and capabilities. May provide first level support for frequently asked questions. • May assist Director with other strategic initiatives including business continuity planning, D1 command center communications solution, technology services catalog development, and new ticketing system for intake and request fulfillment.
DESIRED: • Project Management Professional (PMP) credential preferred. • Exceptional communication skills including negotiation and collaboration with positive results • Experience overcoming barriers in the best interest of the patient or customer. • Strong negotiation skills, ability to articulate priorities, risks, and tradeoffs in effort to achieve optimal solutions. • Ability to problem-solve while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers. • Strongly prefer experience in health care setting.
