The College of St. Scholastica is seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual to provide receptionist and front desk support for the Facilities Services Department. This is a temporary, part-time position to work 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Responsibilities: - Coordinate, schedule and dispatch work order requests. - Coordinate scheduling of facilities department pool vehicles. - Maintain computerized key control system. - Provide technical, administrative and clerical support to the facilities services department in general accounting and office automation functions.
Required Qualifications: - Basic office skills required: typing, filing, answering phones. - Computer skills required: MS Word and Excel preferred. - Outstanding grammar, punctuation and spelling skills required. - Ability to perceive where discretion is necessary and maintain the strictest confidentiality. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to simultaneously manage and coordinate a large number of varying tasks. - Excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with a wide diversity of people (faculty, staff, students and the public) in a friendly, professional manner. - Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. - Presence to publicly represent the College.
