1. Provide athletic training for NCAA Division I sports. 2.Provide daily injury reports to coaches and weekly injury reports to Director of Athletic Training and Team Physician. 3.Set up each new athletic team members with pre-participation physicals, EKG and sickle cell testing. 4.Enter all pertinent health information into Sportsware online. 5.Have each member complete IMPACT concussion baseline test prior to participation in athletics. 6.Assist full time athletic trainers with day to day operation of the assigned athletic training room. 7.Provide Accredited Clinical instruction to student athletic trainers 8.Remain up to date with policies and procedures manual, First Aid and CPR. 9.Acquire and maintain van certification.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Bachelor’s degree and Athletic Training experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University in athletic training. BOC Certification. Candidate must be organized and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. The State of North Carolina requires licensure of its Certified Athletic Trainers.
