George Mason University's, Safety, Emergency, and Enterprise Risk Management (SEERM) Department invites applications for Screening Navigators. The COVID Screening Navigator will provide assistance with various administrative tasks in support of the pandemic response effort. Duties may include case management of Mason COVID Health Check assessments, surveillance testing participant management, and testing data analysis, reconciliation, and quality assurance, following up with cases to confirm information and providing assistance; notifying the appropriate classes, departments, registered student organizations, and teams when positive cases are reported; The position will also back up the Quality Assurance Specialists which will include analyzing data to look for trends or commonalities; and updating records as new information becomes available. This position will require periodic scheduled work on weekends and holidays.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Communicate accurately and clearly, and in a timely manner;
Ability to work effectively with a broad range of personalities and work styles;
Proactively address issues/ask questions;
Excellent time management skills;
Ability to prioritize projects and deadlines;
Knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams), databases and internet applications.
Associates or Bachelor's degree;
1-3 years of administrative/clerical/customer service experience;
Experience at an institute of higher education.
