Manages all clinical and administrative operations of the Pre-Op Clinic, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently under the direction of the Regional Operations Director, USC Care and Ambulatory Services.Â Implements new programs and procedures to improve services and operations. Supervises the utilization of resources and the application of technological developments for patient care. Performs complex and varied administrative and clinical assignments including working as part of the nursing team as needed. Directs nursing practice, education and services. Serves as a personal contact for physicians, staff, and outside departments in order to address problems, issues or concerns that require attention. Ensures patient care and services, clerical functions and financial management are carried out in collaboration with hospital administration and the medical staff in compliance with organizational goals and appropriate agency requirements. Other duties as assigned.Â
Minimum Education:â¢Bachelorâs degree required.â¢Masterâs degree preferred.Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢Three yearsâ experience as a RN required.â¢Two yearsâ experience in a management or charge nurse position required. â¢Proven performance may substitute for years of experience.â¢Experience in the field of Internal Medicine preferredâ¢Experience in Acute or Ambulatory setting preferred.Required License/Certification:â¢California RN License required. â¢Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required.â¢Fire and Safety Certification if working in a hospital licensed clinic located in LA City. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
