We are seeking a new team member with great customer service skills to support all departmental functions in administration, medical education, research, etc. including travel arrangements and reimbursement processing for departmental staff and faculty, and event planning. This proactive administrative leader will need to make daily decisions on how to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work well with faculty, staff, administrators, and students and will have strong communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills.
High school diploma or GED and one year of experience in an administrative assistant role or equivalent.
Experience in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Strong work ethic and ability to handle confidential materials. Strong communication skills and works well individually as well as in a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively greet public/customers, listen, understand, and direct to appropriate entity as necessary.
