UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a primary care Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in our Womens Health Care Center. This individual is responsible for providing services independently and collaboratively with appropriate privileges, including initial and ongoing assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
With keen attention to the specific needs of patients, deliver excellent care, with compassion, motivation, and sound medical knowledge.
Provide timely initial assessment, diagnostic evaluation, management, and follow-up of patients.
Coordinate and monitor patients' status, including longitudinal care and follow-up, in conjunction with attending physicians, social workers, and other providers.
Respond to patients' healthcare needs, providing triage, urgent care and interventions as necessary/appropriate.
Participate in appropriate interdisciplinary team meetings, rounds, and serves as a resource for staff.
Participate as a key member of the interdisciplinary team through the development of collaborative and innovative practices and evaluation of patient care outcomes.
SCHEDULE Full time days, Monday - Friday.
Training and recent/current experience in the provision of primary care services including initial assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and management of patients.
Nationally certified ARNP/PA-C with DEA.
Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
Effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in patient care.
Current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse Licensure and ARNP Licensure or Physician Assistant License.
Graduate Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or graduate of an accredited PA program.
