The Nursing Instructor has responsibility for teaching primarily in the classroom and laboratory settings and also in the clinical setting; incorporates evidence-based practice into teaching activities and maintains a commitment to serving Danville Community College. Academic advising and committee responsibilities are assigned to this position. The successful candidate should expect to be an active participant in expanding nursing education in the community and assisting in developing allied health programming at the college.
A Master's degree in nursing; a current unencumbered RN license in the Commonwealth of VA; at least two years of direct care experience as a Registered Nurse in a health care setting.
