Under general supervision from an Assistant Director of Student Financial Aid, plan, design, evaluate, modify, and coordinate specific student financial aid programs for the department.
Plan, design, evaluate, modify, and coordinate one of several state or federal aid programs for Student Financial Aid.
Design and create training materials for use within and outside of the department
Coordinate data collection and monitor quantitative and qualitative indicators of progress toward established objectives
Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions, and develop action steps for program improvement
Develop, administer, and analyze assessments and evaluations to ensure program compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and procedures
Compile statistics and prepare reports as requested
Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies, and other University departments
Perform related duties based on departmental need
Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience; -OR- Associate's degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- five (5) years experience
Relevant experiences includes coordinating processes/projects or customer service experience
Previous financial aid and/or higher education experience
Demonstrated success with meeting goals, working independently, and being accountable for accurate and efficient productivity
Flexible and adaptable to meet changing needs of the department
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Access, etc.)
This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
