MSU is seeking to fill a position of a post-doctoral research associate beginning in June 2021. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to research efforts in nuclear reaction theory at NSCL. The appointment will initially be for one year with the possibility of renewal up to three years, depending on performance and the availability of funds.

Doctorate -Nuclear Theory
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in nuclear theory, or anticipate Ph.D. completion by Summer 2021.
Applicants are expected to have knowledge in the area of direct reaction theory and experience with writing scientific codes.
Ability to work with export controlled technologies.
Applicants should have a strong research record and display significant initiative as well as communication skills that complement their technical skills.
