The College of Arts & Sciences is seeking applications from qualified candidates for two non-tenure track lecturer positions to teach courses in the Criminology/Criminal Justice Program beginning Fall 2021 through Spring 2022. Course teaching load is four courses per semester. Summer teaching is also available, however, is not guaranteed. Along with teaching, the successful candidate is expected to participate in faculty meetings and engage in service as requested by the department. Specialization is open, but experience with online and hybrid instructional formats is preferred.
Job Responsibilities: Â
Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or related field from a regionally accredited institution.Â
A minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Criminology. Â
A minimum of one-year college or university teaching experience. Â
Ph.D. or A.B.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology or related field from a regionally accredited institution. Â
Experience teaching online and hybrid formats.Â
Experience teaching research methods and/or statistics.
Familiarity with non-traditional commuter University setting.Â
Experience in culturally diverse settings.
