Description of Work:
Manage the day to day functions of the research lab, including the supervision, training and mentoring of undergraduate students, graduate students, and other lab personnel. Assist in the management of research directed at defining the biochemical mechanisms underpinning regulation of primary metabolism. Maintain and clean laboratory and equipment, service instruments, and maintain the eye wash and shower stations. Prepare and maintain stock of liquid nitrogen supplies, biological samples, update chemicals and order supplies, chemical and reagents, etc., for the lab. Responsible for overseeing that all EHS policies and procedures are followed.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or relevant field plus four (4) years of related experience with plant biology, molecular biology and biochemical assays.
Ideal candidate will have Master's degree in Biochemistry or relevant field.
Posted Salary: $44,500 minimum
