Designs and instructs didactic, lab, and clinical coursework for designated curriculum, employing a variety of teaching methods.
Employs variety of teaching methods to include standard classroom lecture and on-campus lab exercises.
Provides direct student supervision at multiple clinical sites.
Assess student academic achievement at classroom, department, and college levels while demonstrating an understanding of and a commitment to the assessment of student academic achievement.
Mentors and advise students.
Participates in the ongoing process of program review, evaluation, updates, and revisions to assure program effectiveness.
Occupational Experience Requirement
Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered technologist.
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Certified as a Registered Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Two years teaching experience in a JRCERT program.
Demonstrates proficiency in curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, instruction, and academic advising.
Previous Program Director experience in a JRCERT accredited program.
Experience with the JRCERT accreditation process.
Experience with supporting curriculum and program in working with diverse populations.
Experience with sectional anatomy and/or computed tomography.
Previous teaching experience including didactic, lab and clinical settings.
Worked with curriculum development and management.
Delivered course-work in the online environment.
