Department of Biostatistics at University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to focus on statistical methods research on disease progression modeling. The candidate is expected to work with Professor Ying Zhang's research team to develop innovative statistical methods to better understand the progression of Huntington disease for predicting the disease onset of premanifest individuals. The candidate will be provided opportunity in teaching biostatistics courses and engaging in interdisciplinary research at UNMC campus. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Applicants must have completed all the requirements for their doctoral degree in either Biostatistics or Statistics by June 30, 2021. A graduate transcript and three references are required.
Applicants with expertise in longitudinal data analysis/survival analysis/joint modeling/causal inference are strongly preferred.
