The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska is recruiting Emergency Medicine physicians to be an integral part of our faculty. The incoming faculty member will join a collegial team of Emergency Medicine specialists that is passionate about providing clinically excellent and compassionate care to all patients. We are home to a well-established and fully accredited three-year emergency medicine residency program that offers 12 positions per year.
Our hospital partner, Nebraska Medicine is a nationally certified Level I Trauma Center. The Emergency Department is a busy, high acuity ED with an annual census of typically 60,000-65,000 patients, excellent physician and advanced practice provider coverage and 24/7 Emergency Medicine resident coverage.

The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine and possess excellent clinical, professional, and communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with experience and/or has completed fellowship training in ultrasound, EMS, critical care or medical education.
