This position will support multiple researchers and research projects at Casey Eye Institute with statistical analysis needs, data management (querying, cleaning, imputing, visualizing, and validating), and study design. An interest in clinical, translational, and/or data science research is a must, as well as experience with statistical programming languages and tools, such as R, Stata, SAS, or Python. Other necessary skills include attention to detail, the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a highly motivated and independent work ethic. This job position will require working remotely from home until OHSU allows on campus work; because of this, access to high speed internet is crucial.
Statistical analysis including data quality and completeness, missing data analysis, statistical power calculation, statistical tests, regression analysis, and machine learning.
Data management including querying, cleaning, imputing, visualization, and validating data.
Participate in study design activities for research projects.
Contribute to scholarly publications based on work.
Present work at OHSU and at local and national conferences, when appropriate.
Masters degree with specialty Statistics or Mathematics.
