Essential Functions: Make effective instructional and pedagogical use of relevant educational technologies including eLearning platforms to develop instructional offerings for the School of Medicine and Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.Develop online tutorials, instruction sessions, workshops, and presentations to promote library research competencies.Create and maintain additional online learning objects, LibGuides and content to support the curriculum. Leverage fundamental competencies and pedagogies like MLA's Profesional Competencies for Lifelong Learning and Professional Success, and ACRL Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education to support curricular and research priorities.Maintain awareness and understanding of current issues, emerging trends, technologies, methods, and best practices in instructional design and teaching and learning in academic medicine. Regularly, assess the effectiveness and usability of instructional offerings and online-learning objects and redress when needed. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and oral skills, especially presentation and teaching skills
Qualifications: Master's degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited program or related degree. Minimum of 2.5 years of recent experience in an academic, public or special library environment. Minimum of 2.5 years of recent experience creating and delivering instructional programs.
