Advertised Job Summary:
The successful candidate will: serve as the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) for the DPT program, teach courses in area of specialization, advise physical therapy students, supervise DPT student research, participate in service to the program and community, and engage in scholarship. The DCE is responsible for coordinating and managing the clinical education sites, clinical education program planning, clinical education implementation and assessment, obtaining and maintaining clinical sites, and clinical instructor development.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
The successful candidate at the Clinical Assistant Professor level must have a degree (BS, MS, or DPT) in physical therapy; if that degree is not a DPT, the candidate must have an earned terminal academic doctoral degree (DHS, EdD, PhD) by the start date of employment. The successful candidate at the Clinical Associate Professor level must also have at least 5 years of relevant academic experience.
