We are an innovative research entity in the Division of Cardiology and General Medicine looking for a highly organized, equity driven, detail-oriented and enthusiastic candidate to support the patient-oriented research portfolio of the Center for Behavioral Cardiovascular Health. The Data Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Principal Investigator, other study investigators, Data Manager and staff to coordinate data management and analysis activities for multiple clinical research projects.
Development of data collection and data entry systems
Coordinating with research staff to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the data collection and data entry tools
Running regular data quality assurance checks
Organizing and merging research data from multiple sources
Conducting data processing and data manipulation
Coordinating data core activities with regards to progress report deadlines and abstract submission deadlines
Preparing summary statistics, tables and figures for reports, presentations and publications
Performing other responsibilities as assigned
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus two years of related experience required
Knowledge of other statistical packages and or website programming a plus
Experience with FileMaker Pro, Qualtrics and REDCap a plus
Organizational, analytical, quantitative, and computer (e.g. word processing, spreadsheet software, other basic computer applications, etc.) skills
Experience with statistical software (e.g. SAS, R or similar program) required
Experience with data collection, and performing and interpreting statistical analyses
Experience in managing large data files from multi-site studies
Well-organized, proactive, extremely organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
Able to balance working independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
Able to multitask in a diverse and demanding environment with frequently shifting priorities
Able to demonstrate flexibility in workload/work hours to meet critical deadlines
Ability to prioritize multiple projects to ensure the completion of essential tasks
